A creative space for little interstellar explorers

We’re thrilled to welcome back Kaila from Camp Create, who will be leading our children’s activity program at Interstellar Groove.

The program offers plenty of opportunities for kids to make, play and create, including canvas painting, gemstone and clay microphone-making, mask-making, the Interstellar 2026 Kids Banner, face painting with Kaila, insect paper collages, jewellery-making, mindful colouring, origami, free drawing and parachute play—plus a kids’ disco and movie night.

Children’s tickets

  • Children aged 6 and under: $66

  • Children aged 7–14: $132

  • Children over the age of 14 are not permitted to attend.

Parent and guardian responsibilities

Children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Parents and guardians are responsible for their children throughout the event, including in camping areas, shared spaces and during performances.

Interstellar Groove is a vibrant festival environment, and children may be exposed to large crowds, loud music, adult language or behaviour. Please use your judgement to ensure the event is suitable for your family.

All children and accompanying adults are expected to follow the festivals terms and conditions.

Children’s wristbands

Once you have arrived on site and set up, please head to the Info Tent to collect your family’s wristbands. Each child’s wristband will include emergency contact details to help our team reunite families quickly if needed.

All children must wear their festival wristband at all times. We recommend parents or guardians include an emergency contact number with their child’s wristband or keep it readily available, so our team can help reunite families quickly if needed.

If a child is lost

If you cannot find your child, please notify the nearest staff member or security team immediately. Our team will help coordinate a response as quickly as possible.

Registration

All parents and guardians bringing children to Interstellar Groove will be sent a children’s registration form. Please complete the form before the event so we can ensure we have the right information to welcome your family safely.

Media consent

By attending Interstellar Groove, guests are considered to have consented to photography and video being used for festival marketing purposes.

If you do not wish for your child to be photographed or filmed, please let our team know. You will be provided with a special wristband to help identify that your child should not be captured in photos or video.

While we cannot guarantee this will always be noticed in the moment, we will take every reasonable step during our content review process to ensure any images or footage featuring children with this wristband are not published or used.
